How is the pension connected to companies?
Pension savings pool money intended for the long term and are invested according to the track and rules.
The exposure can include shares of public companies, bonds and additional assets, and in appropriate cases also private investments. Therefore taking a company public can widen the options for trading it, but it is not the only way institutional money reaches companies.
A fund can hold a traded share, and at the same time exposure to a private investment fund. The assets differ in transparency, liquidity and risk.
