Portfolio challenge — three months
₪10,000 in virtual money. Five stocks. What happens to your portfolio over three historical months?
Daily challenge
10,000 virtual shekels, five picks and three months. Everyone gets the same period and choices. A new challenge each day in Israel time.
Completed games automatically appear on the anonymous board: stocks, dates and amounts only, without names or account details. You can remove your result afterwards.
Each round, choose one of three stocks and invest ₪2,000. After five choices, all your money is invested. Choices are locked and cannot be changed. All three stocks shown in a round leave the draw, including the two you did not pick.
Virtual-money game only. Historical closing prices are converted to shekels at historical exchange rates, excluding fees, taxes and dividends. Full investment is a game rule, not advice. Past results do not predict the future.
How to play and what to learn
The portfolio challenge is a short game for beginners exploring how stock choices affect a whole portfolio. No account or deposit is needed. Each of five rounds presents three stocks with past price charts. Pick one stock; all three options then leave the draw. You finish with five different stocks, investing an equal ₪2,000 in each.
How are gains and losses calculated?
After locking your portfolio, the game reveals three calendar months from the past using available trading days. All stocks use the same period. Each holding is valued by comparing its ending and starting price, converted to shekels at historical exchange rates. For example, a holding rising from ₪2,000 to ₪2,200 contributes a ₪200 gain. Adding all five holdings gives the final portfolio value. Fees, taxes and dividends are excluded.
Frequently asked questions
Are these real historical prices?
Yes. The game uses historical closing prices and exchange rates. Periods are selected from available data; stocks without complete data for the period are excluded.
Can I change a pick or see future prices early?
Picks are locked. Future prices are revealed only after five stocks are selected. You can start a new game with a different period and set of choices.
What can I share with friends?
Share the game link, text with your result or save an image card with your portfolio chart. There is no direct competition and no full name or account information is shared.
Does a good result prove investing skill?
No. Results describe a particular historical period, not a prediction or recommendation. Use the game to explore how diversification, price movements and exchange rates affect a portfolio.
